Presented annually at the AFSA Professional Education and Development Symposium/SUMMIT. This scholarship is awarded to the A1C William H. Pitsenbarger Award recipient. Recipients receive a full 4-year scholarship.

TSgt Virgil Perry AFSA Non-Commissioned Officer (NCO) of the Year

Presented annually at the AFSA Professional Education and Development Symposium/SUMMIT.
The scholarship recipient receives a 2-year scholarship (Graduate, Undergraduate, or Doctorate) that is transferable to a spouse/dependent. The recipient must enroll no later than six months after the announcement. Scholarship valued up to $32,700.
Robert D. Gaylor Blue Suit Air Force Recruiter Scholarship

Presented annually at the AFSA Professional Education and Development Symposium/SUMMIT. The scholarship recipient receives a 2-year scholarship (Graduate, Undergraduate, or Doctorate) that is transferable to spouse/dependent. The recipient must enroll no later than six months after the announcement. Scholarship value up to $32,700.

Thanks to our partnership with Columbia Southern University, recruits, retentions, and individuals in the DEP can receive a complimentary OneCourse Scholarship of up to $1,635 per course.
SSgt Donald Ward AFSA Airman of the Year Scholarship
Sponsored in partnership with Waldorf University.
Presented annually at the AFSA Professional Education and Development Symposium/SUMMIT. This scholarship is awarded to the TSgt Virgil Perry AFSA Non-Commissioned Officer of the Year award recipient. This scholarship includes 60 semester hours that can be applied toward an associate’s, bachelor’s, or master’s degree. The scholarship is valued at $25,200.
